An entire year has gone by?!?!?!

Well, I have successfully gone an entire year without updating this blog. (I guess that would actually be the opposite of success when I would actually like to blog). OOPS. Life happens and it happens FAST! It really is so sad. I want to treasure all the little moments with Gavin while he is still so young, but while I'm am trying to do that I have already forgotten what it was like when he was even just 3. I really need to start writing all of these precious little things down that he does. Man, I love my little guy.

So.....in an attempt to start blogging...FOR REAL this time.....maybe.....

Snow pictures are the best!

OK, it must be said.....I heart snow! I love everything about it. I love to watch it fall, play in it, build things with it, and even drive in it! It makes me happy:)
I know that snow has a lot of haters out there, but I embrace it.

This winter has been a great one for the snow lovers. I think we have had more this year than we have had for a long time. I remember a really big snow that happened back when I was a kid. I thought it was the best thing ever. I think school was shut down for an entire week that year. Of course we have the infamous pictures of the tape measure in the snow to tell the depth. It was fun. I remember sleigh riding and then coming into the house. My mom would have the hot chocolate ready. She would also give me a blanket and have me lay on the furnace vent. The blanket would hold all the blowing heat in under it. I was surrounded in the warmth! It was great! It was the little things about growing up that I remember. I want to give Gavin those same fond memories. So here are some pictures of us embracing the snow:)

Failed Blogger...

Ok...well...I am not so good at keeping up with this whole blogger thing. I really want to, but you know that crazy thing called life gets in the way. I will keep trying though. Tomorrow I promise to post a blog and add pictures to it! (if I'm not too busy) hehehe

Max...what a sweetie.

Alright, so I downloaded a new photo organizing program and I have been going through some older pictures. I stumbled on to these:( This is cute little (big now) Max. We got him about a year and a half ago and it was just bad timing. We thought Gavin would really enjoy him, but boy we were wrong. Gav ended up being scared to death. Max would walk around and Gavin wouldn't come off the couch. Our kitty cat also had some issues with not using her litter box and wanting to permanently live under our bed. I even moved her food up there so she would eat. Needless to say I was driven over the edge the first week and Max had to find another new home. I still keep in touch with his owner. He is doing great and has his own fenced in yard near Columbus. Derrick and I secretly wait for the day Gavin asks to get a dog. The answer will be yes! Just look at that puppy face!

Gav's New Bike!

Gavin got his very first Bike. WOOHOO! He is loving every second of it. He is constantly asking to ride his new Spiderman bike. D and I have been eyeballing a Spiderman bike at Toys-r-Us. We were going to make it a birthday present. Well......the other day we drove past a yard sale and saw the very same bike sitting near the edge of the road. I was so happy to walk up and find out it was only 15 dollars. SOLD! It's Gav's bike now:)

My baby is almost three!

These are a handful of pictures that I really enjoyed. Gavin is almost three years old! Since I wasn't blogging for the first three years, I thought I would add some younger pictures of him. He had the cutest little baby face:)
